How To Put Up An Electric Wardrobe Lift

2. Requirements for the cabinet and power supply

To make sure the wardrobe can hold enough weight (at least 20 kg), the side panels must be made of solid wood, multi-layer plywood, or MDF.

Set aside a 220V power outlet and put it on the ceiling of the cabinet or inside the side panel. Make sure the wiring doesn't get in the way of the wardrobe doors opening and closing by running it through the cabinet's internal cable channels.

The recommended installation width is between 800 and 1200 mm. If the width is more than this, a central support must be added.
